About

Michael's House is an alcohol and drug addiction treatment facility that is located at 2095 N Indian Canyon Dr, in Palm Springs, California. Treating substance abuse involves multiple stages of treatment through a recovery program such as that offered by Michael's House. This can include group counseling, individual counseling, outpatient treatment, inpatient treatment, and medically assisted detox, among many others. Treatment programs are based on the individual themselves and are constructed to suit each patient individually. Just as every person is unique, so should treatment programs and that is exactly what patients will receive at Michael's House.

If addicts do not obtain the right type of support and guidance, they may find treatment to be very difficult as the thought of sobriety can seem so far-fetched. At Michael's House, professional counseling and guidance are provided to all patients aged Adults, giving them the strength needed in order to obtain a life that is free of drug and alcohol addiction. By altering the patient's outlook on life through addiction treatment, they will be able to stay positive throughout the duration of rehab.

The staff members at Michael's House have a mission and that is to give patients effective and quality addiction treatment so that long-lasting sobriety can be obtained. The path to a positive future starts on a positive foot and that begins at Michael's House. Confronting addiction is a difficult thing to do, but it is the most important step in the recovery process. Through professional counseling during the patient's time in treatment, patients will learn coping skills and trigger management which is imperative to the success of maintaining sobriety.

Maintaining sobriety on one's own is extremely difficult, especially when the addict has tried to go 'cold turkey' on their own. This is because it requires medically-assisted detox in order to properly and safely wean the body off of the substance of abuse. This way the body does not go through sudden withdrawal nor experience harsh side effects. Michael's House can provide patients with all of the necessary tools, treatments, and resources so that patients have every opportunity to succeed in recovery.

Getting treatment is the best option when seeking a life that is free of substance abuse. Get the help required now and start living the best life possible. Contact Michael's House by visiting www.michaelshouse.com now.

Excellent, clean facility with a staff who genuinely cares. The finance aspect may be frustrating anywhere you go so I do not discount them for that. This place completely changed my life.

My dad did his treatment here all the way from Detroit. He came back, healthy, sober and in good spirit. He said that the people there treated him really good and he is grateful. I got discouraged reading reviews before he left but now I am confident that it is a good place and all you need to do is find out for yourself. Please don't let these bad reviews detour you, if you put in the work and take ownership for your choices my dad says you can and will make it.

I recently contacted Dustin at the Admission Dept for Michael's house, on behalf of my boyfriend. During the many attempts on getting him admitted as the patient at MH, each 6 times, ended up with him asking for them to let him go. The staffs at the admission dept & in MH, were being helpful, patient, caring and understanding. There are so many names I could list here (Dustin, Maurice, Steven, Jeff at admission dept and Anthony, Daniel, Christine and Jeanette the supervisor at Michael's House, and there are some names I could not remember) for my recognization & akcnowledging their efforts, time & energy they put out for my bf, who is in total denial and resisting all help. To this day (after almost the 3rd weeks of attempts), he still drinks and refusing any helps from me and the family & friends. Bottom line is, I am strongly recommend Michael's House to anybody that are seeking help for their recovery!

I had my last drink and pill on the doorsteps of Michael’s House in 2010 and I’m clean and Sober ever since. I extended my original stay of 4 weeks to 6 weeks on my request because I felt I can learn even more and get more stable in another 2 weeks and my success is all what counts. They were able to deal with my fragile medical condition after a serious medical issue and hospital stay prior to my admission, and nurtured me back to health. Thank you for saving my life. I still use many skills I learned from you in my ongoing personal recovery.

I went to tour Michael's House last week 7/13/17, and I was very impressed. I have referred several people to this facility so it was nice to meet all of the staff and learn more about the work that they do. It was very clear that each staff member takes pride in the work that they do and always keep the client's best interest at heart. Reading reviews for treatment centers can be tricky considering the population of people who are writing them. Family members can be frustrated, clients can place blame on others, which can make for some irrational reviews of programs and treatment centers. Anyone who I have referred to Michael's House has had a great experience and has nothing but good things to say about all of the staff, housing, and overall environment. I will continue to recommend Michael's House to those looking for quality treatment in a safe, caring atmosphere.

Michael's house saved my life. I came into stabilization mad high and not wanting to stay and they did everything in there power to keep me there the first couple days in large part to Scotty getting me through some rough times. After the first couple days they treated me like family giving me the support i needed Irish, Gracie, Gwen, Vicki, Sean, Miguel, and Angel all thought me very valuable lessons in my life to stay sober. I was at stabilization for 15 days and it changed my life. Getting to the mens house was a different transition which i didn't like at first but the morning staff Chris, Rita, Benny and Johnny all continued to keep me on my toes and all showed they cared and thought me more countless lessons. The night staff was always more kicked back but if it wasn't for Sammy and Eddy I don't know if i would of lasted the whole 30 days. I also wanted to give a HUGE thanks to Peter and Johnny for all they did for me if it wasn't for you and your whole MH's Staff i wouldn't be 45 days sober and starting school on Monday for drug and Alcohol counseling.

What I like about MH is the availability of the staff. It can be a tough road especially when insurance coverage typically defines how long someone can stay there but I found in the two people that i personally recommended be sent there the staff communicated well with me, once all the consent paperwork was completed.
